Karen Daye-Hutchinson is a multi medium artist from Belfast. Having studied Fine Art at both Manchester University and University of Ulster she has exhibited nationally and internationally to include, America, Canada, France, Germany, Luxembourg and Japan. Karen is an elected member of the prestigious ‘Prism Print International’ and has recently been artist in residence at Empreinte atelier de gravure, Luxembourg where she created the ‘Dark Fairy Tale’ collection of etchings that preceded the widely reviewed ‘A Harlots Progress’. A new exhibition of works will be created for this exhibition in the form of sculptural artists books and a hybrid print installation mapping a journey through the use of line and symbolism.
