We are delighted to announce this short story competition for children and young people alike. It is our hope that this competition will create an opportunity for you to lift a pen (or pencil) and let you imagination run wild in these odd times.
‘Friendship and Community’ is the theme of Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich’s first Irish language short story competition for young people.
There is a word limit of 300 words for each story
All stories must be submitted by the submission date of Friday the 17th April, 2020.
Máire Zepf,and Áine Nic Géaráilt will be the competition judges for the 6 – 10 year old section .
Professor Fionntán de Brún and Gráinne Ní Ghilín will be the competition judges for the 11 – 14 year old section
Winners and awards will be announced and published on Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich’s website and on social media.
