Aisling Óg Christmas Show and Presentation of Gradam Sheáin Mhic Sheáin

Aisling Óg Drama School is very much looking forward to showing our friends and family the results of all our hard work in our Christmas Show. Expect music, dancing and storytelling. You’re invited to join us after our final workshop of the term to enjoy a wonderful drama exhibition showcasing the talent of our young people.

Gradam Sheáin Mhic Sheáin

Gradam Sheáin Mhic Sheáin will be presented to a young actor from the Aisling Óg Drama School in recognition of their progress, development and participation until now. We are very privileged to be able to present Gradam Sheáin Mhic Sheáin to a young person in testament to the strong links that Seán has with the Irish language community in Belfast and further afield. The establishment of the Shaw’s Road Gaeltacht is one of the developmental highlights of the Irish language in Belfast. As it happens, the foundation of that Gaeltacht is celebrating 50 years this year, 2019.  His name, along with others, is mentioned in connection with the establishment of community projects such as Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich and Coláiste Feirste. Seán is an actor and a champion of the arts who is closely linked to many Irish language theatre productions.
