Every year, Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich awards a final year student at the School of Art in Ulster University a prize to commemorate Gerard Dillon, in whose honour our premier gallery is named. Niamh McCann is an installation and video artist from County Derry, based in Belfast. McCann graduated from Ulster University with a BA in Fine Art in 2017.
With an interest in quantum mechanics and philosophy McCann's work often contains elements of an artist's mind trying to tackle theories surrounding our understanding of reality.

Niamh’s exhibition will be on display from the 25th of October to the 23rd of November.
