Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich launches Spring Programme for 2020 Something for everyone, culminating in Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations

Another year has passed and the Christmas celebrations are now a distant memory but we shouldn’t be disheartened because we have a full programme of events to welcome in the Spring in the heart of Belfast’s emerging Gaeltacht Quarter. There is a buzz in the air as we greet the return of the sun after the long, dark winter. Time to put those resolutions into practice, whether that’s returning to Irish classes after a long absence or beginning something new like yoga. Whether young or old, there is something for everyone under the tower of An Chultúrlann.

Róisín McDonough, Chief Executive of the Arts Council of Northern Ireland stated,

“Here, at the heart of Belfast’s Gaeltacht Quarter, this vibrant creative hub has established partnerships with surrounding artists and arts organisations, so that you, the audiences and participants, have the opportunity to engage across the field of traditional and contemporary arts, from poetry and language arts to music and visual arts.”
